If you take flash RAM-based camera systems on the road, better be ready to back things up ASAP. The Codex Digital Transfer Station does just that. The compact, transportable unit enables users to make everything from backup copies to full production deliverables, directly on set or at a location office.
The Transfer Station can work with two Codex DiskPacks at once, or it can offload data from the Codex Portable. The Transfer Station will copy footage between DiskPacks, make archive tapes, and convert material for postproduction. Formats available include DPX, MXF, DNxHD, QuickTime, AVI, JPEG, BMP, and BWF.
