At NAB Show 2009, Media Distributors introduced The Archive Station, a “one-button power-up” turnkey cart-based unit that ships in a single road case. Designed for both tapeless and tape-based workflows, The Archive Station supports Windows and Mac OS environments; captures all metadata included with video files; and helps to maintain linking of project files from online to archiving. Support includes P2, XDCAM EX, and Red codecs, as well as cameras from Arri, Sony (F23/F35), and Panasonic (Varicam and DVCPRO).
