Flip4Mac Infinity Component
Thomson Grass Valley Infinity disk-based cameras caused a stir upon their release: The next-generation camcorders employ relatively inexpensive, removable Rev Pro drives. Now, Telestream releases its Flip4Mac Component software, which allows MPEG-2 HD and DV25 SD media to be imported directly from Rev Pro drives into Apple Final Cut Pro editing systems without transcoding. Telestream Component software produces a .mov file that is placed directly into the Final Cut project bin, ready for editing.
