Fusion R400Q SATA enclosure
Sonnet is positioning the platform-independent R400Q enclosure as a cost-effective companion to Xserve and other servers. This rackmount SATA drive enclosure supports four interface choices: USB 2.0, SATA II, and FireWire 400 and 800. The Fusion R400Q’s port multiplier facilitates the integration of up to four hard drives into the four-bay unit. The 3.5in. drive trays are hot-swappable, and users can start with one drive and add them as needed. Sonnet’s Tempo SATA E4P and Tempo SATA X4P host bus adapters each handle up to four of the 1RU Fusion R400Q enclosures. When configured as striped RAID 0, max transfer rate is 200MBps.
