eSATA external hard drive
Seagate recently started shipping its CES introductions, the 500GB and 300GB external SATA hard drives. The drives ship with a card bus adapter, so you just need an open PCI slot; though, if you want to RAID-configure a drive, you'll also need a separate eSATA RAID controller. They're not nearly as mobile as a USB 2.0 or FireWire drive, but the 3Gbps throughput gives you about a 4X advantage over those options.
