Better graphics capabilities on the road are on tap with Nvidia's latest portable GPUs. Announced at Siggraph 2008, the new top-of-the-line Quadro FX 3700M is turning up in mobile gear from Dell, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HP, and Lenovo. With a 17in. screen, Lenovo's ThinkPad W700 happens to be the first laptop with a built-in Wacom digitizer into its bright (400-nit) WUXGA display. Other features include an Intel 3.0GHz Core 2 Extreme Quad Core processor, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, a 1GB Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M graphics card, dual HDD bays configurable in RAID 0 or RAID 1, a seven-in-one card reader, five USB ports, and a full numeric keypad.
