Inlet Technologies addresses that with release 2.1 of Fathom, its realtime encoding solution for Windows Media Video HD content. Fathom combines a hardware-encoding engine with analysis software to deliver smaller file sizes, better quality output, and greatly reduced processing time, according to the company.
