Final Effects Complete 5 AE
For many producers, Adobe After Effects (AE) remains the most cost-effective compositing package around. Now, the software gains added capabilities with the release of Final Effects Complete (FEC) 5 AE from longtime developer Boris FX. Although the company acquired the FEC package some three years ago, this is the app's first significant upgrade. Features include the Boris Continuum Complete Pixel Chooser and an integrated motion tracker. The workspace has a more up-to-date feel, with contextual tools and onscreen widgets to streamline effects workflow. Meanwhile, multiprocessor acceleration capability increases the FEC package performance by up to 30 percent, according to the company.
