Speedier animation
As most animators know, you lose much of your creating time doing all the housekeeping chores and other repetitive actions needed to move your project along. That's where Animator's Toolbar, from Bauhaus Software, will help. Designed to work with its Mirage 1.5 — a 2D animation, paint, and effects program — the toolbar offers new tools designed to reduce production time. These tools include Toon Shadow, a 2D toon shadowing and shading effect that can be applied to characters over time with a single button push; Papercut, which automatically removes white substrate from scanned image sequences, leaving only lines with alpha channel; and 3/2 Pull Down, which converts 24fps progressive projects into 30fps interlaced projects.
