For Apple Final Cut Pro users wanting to leverage their DVI monitors' HD resolution, Matrox offers an affordable solution: MXO 2.0. Features added to the original MXO include DVI monitor calibration (adjust hue, chroma, contrast, brightness, and blue-only), super-black and super-white support, and one-to-one pixel mapping. Version 2.0 also has new HD editing resolutions and DVI output resolutions: 1080p at 23.98fps, 25fps, and 29.97fps; 720p at 25fps and 50fps; and 1024x768 at 59.94fps. The DVI monitor also retains the MXO's key features, including realtime HD-to-SD down-scaling, WYSIWYG video output from QuickTime-based applications, and HD-SDI output that can be recorded in realtime.
