3D Seed Man

Hot on the heels of winning its second consecutive British Television Advertising Craft award for best postproduction, Absolute Post has created an entirely CG-based spot for BBH London, mimicking stop-frame animation in a 3D environment. The project was a direct collaboration between BBH and Absolute, with no involvement from a production company. The commercial shows a man made of seeds flexing his muscles to demonstrate the health benefits of Becel's seed-based spread. The man's heart (made of seeds, of course) is then seen pulsating before he dives into a sea of seeds. Although every single frame was generated in 3D, the overall look is one of retro stop-frame animation.

John Gold's ‘Cactusflower' Video

Creators of the video for singer-songwriter John Gold's song “Cactusflower” wanted an organic feel for the piece. They also wanted to edit the video to convey the intimacy of Gold's song as performed live.

Franklin McMahon's Rumor Girls

The RumorGirls.com podcast is produced weekly by Digital Content Producer contributing writer Franklin McMahon (fmstudio.com). It is shot in HD and compressed down for delivery through various podcast directories. It is marketed through MySpace, the Rumor Girls blog, iTunes, and cross promoted through other podcasts. The program was recently picked up by Podshow, the leading podcast network headed up by former MTV VJ Adam Curry. The reality show is based on the lives of two sisters who live in Portland, Maine. It has become popular all over the world.
