As new generations of more-capable hard drives turn up in ever smaller form factors, it's not too much to imagine taking a RAID array on the road. Well, now you can with Sonnet Technologies'Fusion F2 portable RAID drive — which can work off a Mac or PC notebook with the Sonnet Tempo SATA ExpressCard/34 adapter. Measuring just 5.9”×6.2”×0.72”, the Fusion F2 gets 640GB from its two side-by-side 2.5in. drives. All the juice you'll need comes from a FireWire bus — used only for power.
