Faster storage

Even though Apple's Final Cut Pro continues to grow in popularity, facilities that wanted to create Mac-based collaborative editing storage systems have had slim choices. Working together, Apace Systems and Small Tree Communications change that by selling a combo of products to create a 10GbE (Gigabit Ethernet) networked storage system. It's designed specifically for Mac-based workgroups editing uncompressed HD video on Final Cut Pro.

Apace's Jeanclaude Toma describes the product as offering higher performance and a simpler file-based workflow when compared to Apple's Xsan Fibre Channel server. www.apacesystems.com
