Until recently, taking a technology such as a RAID array on the road meant only one thing: big flight cases full of rack storage. Now, with the Sonnet Technologies Fusion F2 portable RAID drive, you'll take along only a low-profile compact design measuring just 5.9"×6.2"×0.72". With 640GB of storage from its two side-by-side 2.5in. drives, the Fusion F2 needs only a FireWire bus for power. It features two eSATA data connections, offering transfer speeds up to twice that of FireWire 800, according to the company. The drive is compatible with MacBook Pro and Windows notebooks.
