At NAB 2005, Doremi Labs will showcase its new MCS-HD four-channel HD video server. The MCS-HD features two record and two play independent high-def video channels with shared storage and selectable compression rates. According to the company, the server can be quickly integrated into a facility's existing operations because of its front panel, which mimics familiar VTR controls. Also, it's compatible with Odetics and VDCP automation protocols and Sony's 9-pin machine control. It can record HD and SD video formats.
