Get fuzzy

While running a separate mic on a boom delivers superior sound, much of that benefit can be defeated when the wind kicks up. K-Tek provides a handy solution with its Zeppelin Fuzzy windscreen. Described as the first one-piece windscreen/shock mount system, the Fuzzy features a layer of high-density foam bonded to a body of reticulated foam. Meanwhile, an outer layer of synthetic fur is permanently fitted over the foam structure. The shock mount component employs a specially formulated rubber holder attached to twin arms of machined anodized aluminum.
