Thanks to all the excellent member feedback, and the diligence of the Reel-Exchange development team, we are glad to announce an new feature on Reel-Exchange.com.

Understanding the importance of first impressions, Reel-Exchange members can now upload their own thumbnail images to represent their demo reels or video samples. Here's how:

First, make sure your thumbnail image is 480 pixels wide by 270 pixels tall. This is the exact size of the 16:9 place holder for representative thumbnails.

Second, log into Reel-Exchange.com and click on "MY ACCOUNT" in the upper right portion of the screen. Click on the "My Reels" link and you should get a page listing the videos currently on your profile.

Click "Edit" next to the video you want to upload a new thumbnail for.

In the "My Profile: Video" screen for the selected video, scroll down to the "Current Thumbnail Image" section, where you'll see your current thumbnail, and a field to "Browse" for a new image.

Hit the "Browse" button and select your 480 pixel by 270 pixel image (must be .jpg, .gif, or .png). Then, hit the "Save Changes" button. Don't forget to "publish" your profile if needed! (upper-right of the "Edit My Profile" page).

Your new thumbnail images should update instantly to the site. If it doesn't appear that way at first, try holding the "Ctrl" key and hit the refresh button on your browser.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email Community Manager Craig Erpelding at support@reel-exchange.com.
