Santa Monica, Calif.--Loretta Jeneski and Claudia Carlson have announced their 11th annual Broads in Broadcasting holiday bash, to be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at La Colonial in San Francisco.

The event benefits Sunny Hills Children’s Garden in San Rafael, Calif., a home for abused children. Traditionally, the hostesses provide invitees with the kids’ wish lists for holiday gifts. Attendees bring their gifts to the party. Carlson serves on the board of Children’s Garden. Jeneski is executive producer at bicoastal Nonfiction Spots (www.nonfictionspots.com).

Broads in Broadcasting (www.broadsinbroadcasting) originated 10 years ago with a small group of women from the ad business who got together for a holiday lunch. In the years since, the event has evolved into an annual tradition of cocktails and a holiday party not to be missed. “We started with 12, and now we usually have about 80 or 90 women,” says Jeneski. “Sometimes a few men crash the party toward the end. We like that.”
