MillimeterNetwork Storage Solutions Names Thomas Makmann President and CEO

CHANTILLY, VA -- Network Storage Solutions (NSS), an innovator and leader in the network-attached storage marketplace, announced the appointment of Thomas Makmann as president and chief executive officer. As CEO, Makmann will further extend the company's leadership in networked storage and leverage the ongoing partnership with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS). Former president and CEO Bradford Clemmons will now assume the position of Chief Technology Officer.
Makmann brings more than 30 years of management experience in the high technology sector to Network Storage Solutions, with special expertise in storage hardware and software companies. Most recently, he served as president and chief operating officer of San Diego-based nStor Technologies, a provider of enterprise-class storage systems. Mr. Makmann's prior professional experience includes management positions with Hammer Storage Solutions and Maxtor Corp.
