NABA Secretary General to Give IBC Keynote

This year's IBC Keynote speaker will be Michael McEwen. Michael holds the posts of Secretary General of the North America Broadcasters Association (NABA), President of the World Digital Audio Broadcast Forum, President of Canadian Digital Television, as well as having been Executive Vice President of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). As a consultant advising on media, strategy, policy and broadcast digital technologies, Michael has over 30 years of radio and television experience, 27 of which were spent with the CBC.
Speaking about his forthcoming presentation Michael said, "Along with the challenges, risks and opportunities we all face in making the digital transition in both television and radio I will deal with the myths and realities of a business that informs, entertains and enlightens but also exaggerates".
The IBC Keynote address will take place in the RAI Forum on Saturday 19 September at 10:30 am. Entry is free to everyone wearing an IBC badge.
The Keynote can also be viewed on the IBC website and will be available for download afterwards.
