Los Angeles, CA.- Wayne Isham of LA production company, A Band Apart, recently voted MTV’s “All Time Video Director” during the network's 20th Anniversary Birthday Celebration, came up big again on September 5, when his N’Synch video, “Pop” captured four wins at the MTV music video awards at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.
“Pop” won awards for Best Group Video, Best Dance Video, Best Pop Video, and the Viewer’s Choice Award. In total, the video received six mominations for its visual style and choreography. The piece includes extensive visual effects created by Radium, San Francisco, including a sequence in which group members’ clothes switch around while they sing.
Isham’s part in the award is significant because he has rapidly become the most honored music video director in history, with several MTV awards to his credit, including the Back Street Boys’ “I Want it That Way” and Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” among others. Isham has also been nominated for three upcoming 2001 Billboard Music Video Awards.
