Checking out the latest products is one reason to stop by plug-in developer Red Giant Software's booth at the show. The company's promises of special show pricing might well be another.
ToonIt, releasing in version 2, transforms video via cartoon shading, eliminating time-consuming techniques such as rotoscoping and hand-painting. New natural media effects are promised that go beyond simple cartooning with simulated airbrush, bristle-paint, Gouache, and scratch-board styles.
Key Correct Pro 1.1 now supports Apple Final Cut Pro 6 and is fully compatible with Adobe After Effects CS4. The set of 15 plug-ins can be in used in combination with any keyer to soften alpha channels, match foreground and background colors, fix outlines, and clean up noise.
