Anton Bauer offers Cine power

Anton Bauer actually started out selling battery belts to the film industry. Over the past decade, the company has been known in the video world for its on-camera battery packs.

At the 2008 NAB Show, Anton Bauer addressed the film and digital cinema production markets directly with its new line of Cine power products, including the Cine-VCLX ($2,190) and Cine-VCLX/2 ($1,450). The Cine-VCLX 560-watt-hour unit offers two regulated 28V outputs (3-pin XLR) and a 14V output (4-pin XLR); the outputs can be used simultaneously and without switches. The Cine-VCLX-CA ($2,375), designed for use with the Sony F23 CineAlta, has the appropriate split power on a single cable. The smaller Cine-VCLX/2 delivers 280 watt-hours and a speedier 3-hour recharge. www.antonbauer.com
