Telestream's Flip4Mac digital media import tool helps pull that off. Designed to offer direct file transfer of MXF and GXF (Grass Valley server) media into Apple Final Cut Pro systems, Flip4Mac recently added import of low-resolution proxies from Sony XDCAM into FCP, as well as export capabilities.
For Grass Valley products, new Flip4Mac components provide file-based import and export of MXF and media among the new K2 media server, Profile and M-Series servers, and FCP systems. For Ikegami Editcam users, a new Flip4Mac import component also enables file-based ingest of MXF media to FCP. www.flip4mac.com
