Starter kit for routing

If you're a small but growing facility, upgrading to a dedicated router can solve signal patch panel nightmares. Smaller, “starter kit” gear like NVision's CR series of compact router systems keeps it simple.

At NAB, the company debuts an expanded line-up that includes the CR1616 (16×16 I/O) and CR3232 (32×32). Each builds around self-contained units with a chassis depth of less than 2in. The routers handle HD, SD, and AES audio formats, with control handled either via local panel or Ethernet. www.nvision.tv
