Network rendering for those really big jobs
For a number of years now, ARTVPS has made a name for itself by turning out the only graphics processing chips dedicated to raytracing.
Now, following the announcement of its recent partnership with Mental Images, ARTVPS introduced a dual processor RenderServer as part of its plans to establish its technology as the leading platform for high-resolution, photorealistic visualization of 3D data.
ARTVPS RenderServer can be used independently or as part of a dedicated render farm. When used with a 64-bit version of mental ray standalone software and the advanced RenderPipe material library, the hardware integrates with Autodesk's 3ds Max and Maya.
