IBC Excellence Award
September 2006
Amsterdam Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Lodewijk Asscher presents the IBC International Honour for Excellence to Aardman Animation's Executive Chairman David Sproxton at IBC's awards night Sept. 10. Best known for its Oscar-winning work featuring Wallace and Gromit, Aardman received the top prize for its world-renowned work in combining claymation and model making with real-world imagery.
IBC Innovation Award
September 2006
On Sept. 10, representatives from T-Systems accepted the IBC award for innovative application of technology in content management. The company's project, “Digital Cinema: the digital workflow in the digital cinema chain,” demonstrates how a carrier-grade global communications network is used to receive digital feature films from almost anywhere in the world. Emmy Dinner
