Outfest 2005, the 23rd Annual Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, featured the 11th annual Outfest Film Competition Awards gala on July 17. Actor Chad Allen (left) presented the Kodak Vision Award to Israeli-born writer/director Yair Hochner for Good Boys (Yeladim Tovim). At Siggraph 2005 (July 31-Aug. 4), Millimeter and Video Systems staff shot, edited, and posted the magazines’ first video blog direct from the show floor of the Los Angeles-based convention. Intel sponsored the video blog, which is still available at siggraph.millimeter.com. In this clip from a video post by Trevor Boyer, a model demonstrates futuristic jewelry at the Cyber Fashion Show.
