SMPTE June 2005

Bob Turner, contributing editor of Video Systems, passed away in July. Turner was a buoyant, irrepressible writer. His sharp, knowledgeable observations on the industry he loved made him a welcome voice in the pages of Video Systems and Millimeter, as well as at events such as this SMPTE New York Editing Showcase June 1. Bob made many friends over his years as a writer and professional editor. We’re thankful that we knew him. Photo: Mark Forman
