3Dconnexion Delivers Control

With today's increasingly complex graphics GUIs, laptop users taking it on the road can find image creation awkward and time-consuming. Now, 3Dconnexion, a Logitech company, offers its SpaceTraveler, a compact motion-control device created for a more efficient two-handed work style, says the company. 3Dconnexion, which also makes the popular SpaceBall3D controller, spots its new controller for simultaneous scene manipulation, such as moving an object into an optimum viewing position, while the mouse hand makes changes to objects by moving vertices or polygons. Certified for use with more than 100 apps, the motion controller features a six-degrees-of-freedom optical sensor, adjustable device sensitivity, and eight programmable buttons. For Windows and Mac. www.3dconnexion.com
