Broadcast paint from VDS
While turnkey graphics systems for broadcast can be expensive, Video Design Software (VDS) continues to argue otherwise with its Twister system. With the release of version 3.5, VDS delivers improved broadcast graphics for its turnkey Twister Paint Station. Twister PS, which runs under Windows 2000, XP, and NT, uses VDS' code library from its high-end Liberty paint system. The PS system reads/writes Photoshop layers while offering direct file support for industry-standard devices including Chyron, Aprisa, Pinnacle, Avid, and Quantel. Other features include resolution-independence, Photoshop plug-ins support, SD/HD I/O, and reading/writing of Photoshop layers.
Price: Complete systems start at $11,995; software only starts at
$1,600
