Virtual displays

At Infocomm Vista Systems released the latest version of its Montage video processing and windowing system. Montage retains multiformat capabilities for handling input and output sources. Improved features include support for adjustable edge-blend width for each output, scaled record outputs that allow the user to record any portion of the virtual image, an anti-flicker filter for interlaced outputs, and Montage Windows application, which allows basic control of the system for applications not requiring a Montage 3200 live-event controller. Outputs, which can be routed to projectors, LED walls, videowalls, recording devices, or monitors, can overlap with 10-bit edge-blending and black level compensation. (For more, see Display Gallery, page 71.)

Price: $21,995 for frame; $31,995 for controller; $23,995 for output module (four outputs); $22,995 for input module (two inputs) Phoenix; (602) 943-5700; www.vistacontrol.com
