Two-in-one graphics card

Most workstation setups require two PCI cards to handle both graphics and video output. Now Nvidia offers the Quadro FX 4000 SDI, a workstation-based graphics card for weather, news, sports, and virtual-set broadcast as well as video and film postproduction on a single PCI card. The card builds around the company's NV40 chip and offers 10-bit uncompressed video output, realtime rendering, high-precision video color conversion, and gamma correction. The Quadro FX 4000 SDI features two configurable 8-bit or 10-bit channels of fill or key and allows users to tailor color conversion. Running on both Windows and Linux operating systems, the card's high-precision modes range up to 10-bit 4:4:4:4.
