While manufacturers bundle in various manuals and CDs with a new camcorder, the reality is that they are rarely practical when you're out in the field. In fact, most are written in such an obtuse style that they're rarely helpful even when you're sitting at your desk. Not so with Robert Goodman's guides, manuals that are so easy to use that you wonder why this hasn't been done before (okay, he's done one for the VariCam and one for the AJ-SDX900 already).
