Take2 for S.two

Storage technology improvements deliver welcome features to Take2, the second generation of S.two's digital film recorder (DFR) for in-the-field capture.

This smaller, lighter DFR uses the new D.MAG2 digital film magazine, which is less than half the size and weight of the standard D.MAG. Take2 offers dual-link HD inputs and outputs that enable it to work with cameras such as Thomson's Viper to record up to 24 minutes of uncompressed DPX files at 24fps. An adapter is available if you want to use the D.MAG2 with existing D.MAG system components such as A.DOCK, F.DOCK, and the DFR.
