Blu-ray dailies?

Though you can get it at Best Buy and other big-box electronics stores, Sony's new BWU-100A Blu-ray burner might become part of your HD workflow.

It's an affordable ($749 MSRP) way to burn up to four hours of 1080i content (using 50GB media) to keep your disc-based dailies in HD-native shape from capture to screening room.

The BWU-100A is an internal drive for Windows XP/2000 systems that handles standard DVD burning at up to 8X as well as high-def Blu-ray at 2X speed.

You might want a Blu-ray burner for another reason. Got pretty HD content to share, and savvy early-adopter clients with Blu-ray players? Now there's no need to down-rez your reel. sony.com/dvdburners
