FlipFactory HD
Telestream, one of the leaders in automated format conversions, unveiled new versions of FlipFactory at NAB, including an updated FlipFactory HD, which simplifies conversion of multiformat source media to HD formats. SD-to-HD and HD-to-HD conversions are completely automated, including transcoding, batch processing, file-based media, and metadata exchange. There's HD encoding support for MPEG 720p, 1080i, and 1080p formats, as well as support for Grass Valley, Omneon, and Pinnacle HD server output formats, plus MPEG VOD HD and Windows Media HD.
