Vegas 7.0c
Vegas 7 was only introduced in September at IBC, but recent Sony camcorder activity has necessitated a free update. Version 7.0c software features new support for the progressive-scan modes (24A and 30, or 25 in the PAL world) of the Sony HVR-V1series HDV camcorders. There's also a built-in import module for the new camera's companion hard disk recorder, the HVR-DR60. Sony Media Software lists other enhancements to Vegas 7: improved color accuracy for XDCAM HD export; improved monitoring over SDI for DV, SD XDCAM, and HDV; and 24p, 25p, and 30p HDV project templates.
