Converter Studio AVCHD
Editors in the Apple/Adobe/Avid world can handle most flavors of HDV footage — but not yet AVCHD. (So far, Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus and Sony Vegas are leading the way with AVCHD support.) Elecard Converter Studio AVCHD converts content from Sony AVCHD camcorders to MPEG-2 (both HDV and DVD-compatible), so mainstream professional NLEs can edit AVCHD. Profiles can be created, but there is also a set of pre-configured profiles for encoding. Converter Studio HD handles MPEG-1 Audio Layer II and WAV PCM audio encoding.
