With the release of version 8.1 of its Mako-HD codec technology for tele-presence, HaiVision Systems offers an efficient solution. In addition to its HD performance (a minimal 70-millisecond latency for up to 1080p-resolution signals), the product includes dual-stream technology, WXGA (1280×768) support, HiLo streaming (low-resolution version for monitoring replicates HD image), and graphics overlay.
