New LCD product designs are delivering a flurry of choices for monitoring in trucks and equipment racks. Wohler Technologies, for example, has a new product line of high-resolution LCD video monitoring gear, including the MON2-3W/HR, with such features as dual 16:9 aspect ratio 7in. screens, two HD-SDI inputs with reclocked HD-SDI outputs, and two computer monitor outputs (in the original input resolution). An all-digital signal path from the input signal through to the monitor — the company calls it “Panoramadtv Direct Digital Drive” — helps keep color reproduction accurate.
