Digital Rapids is demonstrating its new scalable, enterprise-level management and control software applications for live streaming and content transcoding.
Stream Transcode Manager—automated job management and intelligent load balancing for media transcoding. In conjunction with multiple transcoding nodes, Stream Transcode Manager manages large transcoding jobs involving many media files, and features failure recovery, notification and report publishing.
Stream Broadcast Manager—enterprise-level management and control application for multiple live-streaming encoders. Stream Broadcast Manager simplifies operation with centralized scheduling, individual and group resource management, maintenance modes, and reporting, while bolstering reliability with failover management and alerts.
New Software Versions
The new version 2.3 of the Digital Rapids Stream software, now shipping, is being shown across our complete line of content encoding servers. New features include keyframeable video processing plug-ins, additional closed-caption options and more.
StreamZ 2.3—professional standard-definition SD media encoding, transcoding and streaming with hardware-based pre-processing and simultaneous output to multiple formats including AVI, WM9, VC-1, MPEG4, AVC/H.264, Flash, MPEG1, MPEG2, QuickTime, Real, and more.
StreamZHD 2.3—professional multi-format HD/SD video encoding solution for archive, dailies, VOD, IPTV or streaming media delivery from standard or high definition source material.
StreamZ CP 2.3—adds forensic watermarking technology from Philips for rights protection and tracking to StreamZ and StreamZHD. New features include watermarking during transcoding, multi-layer watermarking in a single pass, and an integrated ticketing database for easy tracking and identification.

CarbonHD—professional multi-format HD/SD video encoding and playout DDR with integrated up-, down-, and cross-conversion and software to manage ingest, trimming, and playout of clips.
