EOS 5D Mark II

You had to expect it was coming, but it wasn't until this past September that Canon made its first EOS digital SLR camera — the EOS 5D Mark II — that offers both still and video capture. That's full-frame (i.e. 35mm spec'd) 1080p HD capture at 30fps, if you please, with the benefits of any of Canon's top-notch still lenses. The large 21.1-megapixel sensor is said to offer improved low-noise performance along with an expanded ISO range from 50 to 25,600. Since it's a CMOS sensor, you have a useful realtime image histogram to refer to, along with Live View features including contrast-detect autofocus.
