MillimeterAlphaDogs' Digital Service Station Expands to Chicago; Chicago HD Becomes First DSS Branch Outside California

AlphaDogs, a post-production studio focused on keeping clients "ahead of the pack," announced the expansion of its Digital Service StationT (DSS) to Chicago, enabling editors to focus their attention on the more creative aspects of their project and leave the busy work to DSS. Chicago HD is the fourth DSS branch and the first outside of California.
Founded in 2002 by Steve Panning, co-owner and senior video editor, and Gary Chang, co-owner and engineer, Chicago HD was the first post production studio in Chicago to embrace HD post on the Mac, and has been delivering HD content and expertise to filmmakers, broadcasters, corporate and independent producers alike. Panning is currently responsible for client services at the newest DSS branch.
In addition to the traditional DSS Services of capture and output in many file formats, Chicago HD offers the following services: creative editorial and design; HD and SD conforming and finishing; HD and SD color grading and color correction; HD mastering; HD film-out prep; HD, SD and DV video upconversion, downconversion and crossconversion; HD capture, media import, and export; HD screening; HD and SD equipment rentals, graphics creation, DVD authoring and HD workflow consulting services.
