Avalon Graphite Traveler
K-Tek has created a lighter-weight carbon-fiber version of the Avalon Traveler, a professional boom pole designed to fit in a standard equipment case. The Avalon Graphite Traveler extends from a minimum length of 22in. to a maximum reach of 92in. Telescoping sections lock together via K-Tek’s proprietary “captive collett” coupling system for maximum holding power with minimum torque, according to the company. Constructed of the same high-quality graphite tubing as the Klassic boom pole series, the Traveler is designed for ENG, EFP, and DV production. The Avalon Graphite Traveler comes either unwired (#KEG-88) or factory-wired with an internal coiled cord and a sturdy male XLR mounted in the base (#KEG-88CC).
