For the most part, when you're shooting documentary and news, you want to be as light and flexible as possible. That's part of Joby's thinking about Gorillapod Focus, a lightweight, bendable tripod that supports lighter camcorder setups and SLRs. Weighing in at only 1.1lbs., it still offers enough stability to hold 11lbs. of gear. Flexible, jointed arms allow you to wrap it around a railing, twist it around a tree branch, or loop it onto a shopping cart for unique shots.
