While a stable image becomes critical when shooting news, sports, and other events that employ telephoto lenses, older lenses (or even new, smaller prime lenses) don't include built-in optical stabilization. Fujinon addresses that with its TS-P58A, a new external optical stabilization system that provides a considerable amount of anti-vibration correction. The adapter works with the full range of Fujinon's HD and SD ENG telephoto lenses. The device, which fits between the lens and the camera body, increases the lens' magnification by 1.25X. One result: The TS-P58A makes extreme close-up shots possible with shorter-focal-length lenses.
