ElipZ system
At NAB, Anton Bauer debuted its unique-looking ElipZ system of battery, light, and grip products. The heart of the system is the ElipZ 10K high-capacity lithium battery that delivers a claimed nine-hour operating time (with a typical 10W handheld camcorder). When the system is slung under the camera body, the resulting low center of gravity helps to balance the rest of the rig, which includes ElightZ, a fold-away 6V on-camera light specifically designed to work with the handheld camera battery without the usual power converters or adapters.
