RFX-NLL-II

While they've become more popular due to the flexibility they bring to a production, portable field microwave links can still have drawbacks, such as the amount of extra gear needed to pull a system together. RF Central addresses that with its upgraded RFX-NLL-II 5.8GHz portable digital microwave link, which was introduced at IBC 2008. The updated device now offers both balanced microphone and line-level inputs via switch-selectable XLR connectors on both the transmitter and receiver, eliminating the need for an external audio mixer and preamp. The company claims the new system offers top-quality digital video and audio at a range of 1500ft.
