Properly used, dolly shots add a level of sophistication that can move a shot sequence beyond the ordinary. But standard-issue rigs are expensive, and they're usually too heavy to move easily. Warren-Rufus Innovators' CamTram addresses those issues. Developed for the documentary and ENG/EFP markets, the portable dolly and camera mounting system uses aerospace manufacturing techniques to create a sturdy but lightweight Hi/Lo Hat and attached plate that enable a wide variety of rigging solutions.

The Tram features eight soft rubber tires that can be moved along anything from 3/4in. to 2in. steel or plastic pipe to a ladder or just two parallel 2"×4" planks of wood. www.camtramsystem.com
